Holy Bible - AudioOffline is a free app containing the complete text of the Bible. As its title suggests, its main selling points are the presence of audio readings and the option to read offline. However, it has many more features on top of these.
Many Bible-related apps are available, but they typically focus on one translation each. Examples include the Free Kings James Bible and Free NIV Bible. With Holy Bible - AudioOffline, however, you will have dozens of translations to choose from.
Dozens of translations
Holy Bible - AudioOffline includes a complete text of the Bible in a wide range of different translations. The King James Bible, the American Standard Version, the Scottish Metrical Paraphrases, and the Catholic Public Domain Version are just some examples. Some translations (but not all) are available in audio format, and all these can be downloaded for offline use.
Interactive versus
Each version of the Bible included in the app is interactive. When you tap a verse, you can highlight it, share it on social media, or add a note. You can also create an image. The app allows you to paste a verse over a premade background. The app's Verse of the Day feature gives you ready-made images of this sort.
Prayer plans
In addition to all of the above features, the app also contains a selection of detailed prayer plans. These are grouped into various categories (anxiety, work, marriage, leadership, and so on) and consist of texts with relevant Bible verses. They are designed to be read over the course of several days.
A comprehensive Bible app
If you are looking for an app to help you study the Bible and arrange prayer plans, then Holy Bible - AudioOffline really does have it all. It has a few minor shortcomings, like the fact that many translations lack audio, but these are easy to forgive.
